Covid 19 Vaccination Clinic
We are pleased to be an approved COVID-19 vaccination centre and we welcome new and existing patients who wish to have their COVID-19 vaccination.
As of Saturday 18th September 2021, all people aged 12 years and over are eligible for a COVID-19 vaccination, and people aged 60 years and over are eligible for either the Pfizer or Astra Zeneca Vaccine.
All services associated with our COVID-19 vaccine clinics are 100% bulk-billed to Medicare cardholders.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT OUR COVID-19 VACCINATION CLINICS
When you attend our practice for your COVID-19 Vaccination, you will be assessed by one of our GPs, and then one of our nurses will administer the vaccine
PLEASE NOTE, the COVID-19 Vaccination appointments are for COVID-19 vaccinations only – i.e. there won’t be an opportunity for any other health matters to be addressed during your COVID-19 vaccination appointment.
Fees may apply if appointments are cancelled, or if patients do not attend their scheduled visit without 2 hours’ notice (we’re trying to ensure we don’t have any wasted doses)
Due to the number of patients attending the vaccination clinics, waiting room chairs are limited and reserved for patients only. Please only attend by yourself whenever possible.
PRIOR TO YOUR COVID-19 VACCINATION
Please ensure that you haven’t had any other vaccinations in the last 7 days prior to your scheduled vaccination appointment.
Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time
Please wear a loose-fitting top or a singlet so you don’t need to get unchanged.
If you have had any significant heart conditions diagnosed previously, please consult your usual GP and ensure you bring any relevant information with you to your vaccination appointment.
Please download and fill in our New Patient Registration Form, read all the information on what to expect after your vaccinations and find out how you can prepare prior to receiving your vaccination below.
AFTER YOUR COVID-19 VACCINATION
All patients will be expected to wait at least 15 minutes after vaccination (to monitor any allergic reactions to the vaccine); with high-risk patients needing to wait for 30 minutes.
Patients must hold a current Medicare card (Individuals without a Medicare card can get access to the COVID-19 vaccines at Government Vaccine Centres/Respiratory Clinics)
Patients must commit to booking both doses.
