    Skin Check Clinic

Queensland has the highest rate of skin cancer in the world. Two in three Australians will develop skin cancer in their life. The good news is it can be prevented. Most skin cancers can be treated if they are detected early.

It is recommended that you have a professional skin check every 12 months.

Dr Aung Thura is such a professional. ┬áHe is experienced in this field and has a special interest in “skin cancer” performing comprehensive, bulk-billed, skin checks on his patients.
In the event that a suspicious lump or lesion is found and a biopsy or excision is required, a small “procedure fee” may be charged**.
(** We may consider waiving the procedure fee for valid health care and pension card holders)
